The Mrs. at The Young Retiree does this thing where she picks some cards from PostSecret every week and responds to them. I’ve always thought about it but I never really found a postcard that spoke to me.
Until now.

I’m Catholic. I believe in God, I pray, and all that good stuff. (And right now I have the Nicene Creed going through my head.)
Naturally, this means I disagree with people who believe there is no God. But I don’t belittle them, I don’t mock their beliefs, and I don’t spend my every waking second trying to convert them. Because I don’t do any of those things, it bothers me when atheists (even some of my friends!) mock Christianity as a fairy tale, refer to religion as a crutch for weak people, or dismiss Christianity and religion as a whole as something that has no place in modern society.
If you don’t believe it, fine. But I respect your (lack of) belief, so please give me the same courtesy and respect mine.
Note: This is not intended to start a debate about religion. Don’t do it. I’ll erase your comments.
